MOSCOU, 19 September 2026 (#ADI) – The Ombudsman of the Republic of Djibouti, Kassim Haroun Ali, participates in an international parliamentary election observation mission in Russia from 16 to 23 September.
Russian voters are renewing the Duma, the lower house of parliament, which has 450 seats. The election, spread over several days, mobilizes polling stations throughout the country.
The Djibouti delegation is part of a deployment of foreign observers, invited by the Russian authorities. These representatives of institutions and officials should monitor the conduct of voting, compliance with electoral procedures and transparency in the offices.
